Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?


Lo, their good is not in their hand: The counsel of the wicked is far from me.


If I have walked with vanity, Or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;


For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.


Blessed are they that keep judgment, And he that doeth righteousness at all times.


Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.


Depart from me, ye evildoers: For I will keep the commandments of my God.


Happy is that people, that is in such a case: Yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.


Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the LORD his God:


The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.


Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, When his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.


My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless the LORD.


O taste and see that the LORD is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in him.


He deviseth mischief upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.


Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; From the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:


So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: And they walked in their own counsels.


O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.


My son, walk not thou in the way with them; Refrain thy foot from their path:


How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge?


Good understanding giveth favour: But the way of transgressors is hard.


He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: But a companion of fools shall be destroyed.


Judgments are prepared for scorners, And stripes for the back of fools.


To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, From the man that speaketh froward things;


Surely he scorneth the scorners: But he giveth grace unto the lowly.


The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble.


If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.


I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.


Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.


But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
