Job 9:21
14 Krydshenvisninger

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.

I am as one mocked of his neighbor, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.

I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!

And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
