that thou inquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?


What is my strength, that I should hope? And what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?


Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.


Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.


And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.


Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.


Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Be´li-al: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
