There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.


Then was kindled the wrath of Eli´hu the son of Bar´achel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.


and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ash´kelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,


Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners,


And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
