2 Chronicles 18:1
17 Krydshenvisninger

And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehosh´aphat, and his might that he showed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

And when Athali´ah the mother of Ahazi´ah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab; for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the Lord.

And Jehosh´aphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.

Therefore the Lord stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehosh´aphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehosh´aphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehosh´aphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.

And Jehu the son of Hana´ni the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehosh´aphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord.

And after this did Jehosh´aphat king of Judah join himself with Ahazi´ah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
