And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;


Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.


And a certain Jew named Apol´los, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus.


And it came to pass, that, while Apol´los was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus; and finding certain disciples,


And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.


Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apol´los; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.


whether Paul, or Apol´los, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;


Who then is Paul, and who is Apol´los, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?


Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apol´los on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.


But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
