The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.


For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.


For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,


and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,


But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?


thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
