In the days of Shalmaneser I performed many acts of charity to my brethren.

While Shalmaneser was still emperor, I took good care of my own people whenever they were in need.

In the days of Enemessar, I did many alms deeds to my kindred: I gave my bread to the hungry,

While Shalmaneser was king, I often helped my relatives and other Jews when they were in need.
