Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet to the being, and healing to the bones.


Do not look on the wine when it is red, When it gives its colour in the cup, As it flows smoothly;


“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the covering of the cliff, Let me see your appearance, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your appearance is lovely.”


His mouth is most sweet, And he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Yerushalayim!


I was sleeping, But my heart was awake – the voice of my beloved! He knocks, “Open for me, my sister, My love, my dove, my perfect one; For my head is drenched with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.”


And do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for us to wake up from sleep, for now our deliverance is nearer than when we did believe.


Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for the use of building up, so as to impart what is pleasant to the hearers.


Let your word always be with favour, seasoned with salt, so that you know how you ought to answer each one.


Through Him then, let us continually offer up a slaughter offering of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His Name.
