And in Yapho there was a certain taught one named Taḇitha, which means Dorkas. This woman was filled with good works and kind deeds which she did.


And having risen up, Kĕpha went with them. And when he arrived, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood beside him weeping, showing the inner garments and outer garments which Dorkas had made while she was with them.


And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And calling the set-apart ones and widows, he presented her alive.


So accept one another, as Messiah also did accept us, to the esteem of Elohim.


Greet Philologos and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olumpas, and all the set-apart ones who are with them.


Gaios, the host of all the assembly and me, greets you. Ěrastos, the treasurer of the city, greets you, and Quartus, a brother.


Greet Miryam, who worked very hard for us.

But whoring and all uncleanness, or greed of gain, let it not even be named among you, as is proper among set-apart ones –

the older women likewise are to be set-apart in behaviour, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of what is good,


whom I sent back to you, and receive him, that is, my own tender affections,


So, if you regard me as your partner, receive him as you would me.


If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him,
