“I am to be his Father, and he is My son. If he does perversely, I shall reprove him with the rod of men and with the blows of the sons of men.


He does build a house for My Name, and he is to be My son, and I am to be his Father. And I shall establish the throne of his reign over Yisra’ĕl forever.’


יהוה lives! And blessed is my Rock! And exalted is the Elohim of my deliverance,


That I might come to the slaughter-place of Elohim, To Ěl, the joy of my delight, And praise You with the lyre, O Elohim, my Elohim.


He alone is my rock and my deliverance, my strong tower; I am not greatly shaken.


Come, let us sing to יהוה! Let us raise a shout to the Rock of our deliverance.


“And I shall cut off the chariot from Ephrayim and the horse from Yerushalayim. And the battle bow shall be cut off. And He shall speak peace to the nations, and His rule is from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.


And going forward a little, He fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I desire, but as You desire.”


Again He went away, a second time, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is impossible for this to pass unless I drink it, let Your desire be done.”


And at the ninth hour יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Ěli, Ěli, lamah sheḇaqtani?” which is translated,“My Ěl, My Ěl, why have You forsaken Me?”


And crying out with a loud voice, יהושע said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last.


So they took away the stone where the dead man was laid. And יהושע lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.


יהושע said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ”


For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth”? And again, “I shall be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son”?
