And also when I am old and grey, O Elohim, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to a generation, Your might to all those who are to come.


Do not cast me off in the time of old age, When my strength fails, do not forsake me.


Grey hair is a crown of adorning, It is found in the way of righteousness.


even to your old age, I am He, and even to grey hairs I carry! I have made and I bear, and I carry and rescue.


I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.


Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim.


And working together, we also call upon you not to receive the favour of Elohim in vain –


For you are all sons of Elohim through belief in Messiah יהושע.


Because of this I, Sha’ul, am the prisoner of יהושע Messiah on behalf of you nations –


I call upon you therefore, I the prisoner of the Master, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,


for which I am an envoy in chains, that in it I might speak boldly, as I should speak.


And I thank Messiah יהושע our Master who empowered me, because He counted me trustworthy, putting me into service,


the older men are to be sober, serious, sensible, sound in belief, in love, in endurance,


But I particularly encourage you to do this, that I might be restored to you the sooner.


Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the being,


“And it shall be, when their fathers or their brothers come to us to complain, that we shall say to them, ‘Favour us with them, because we did not take a wife for any of them in battle, neither have you given them to them, making yourselves guilty of your oath.’ ”
