And they said, “Your servants are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Kena‛an. And see, the youngest is with our father today, and one is no more.”


These were the sons of Lĕ’ah, whom she bore to Ya‛aqoḇ in Paddan Aram, with his daughter Dinah. All the beings, his sons and his daughters, were thirty-three.


Thus Dawiḏ and all the house of Yisra’ĕl brought up the ark of יהוה with shouting and with a voice of a shophar.

and the Lĕwite singers, all those of Asaph and Hĕman and Yeḏuthun, with their sons and their brothers, stood at the east end of the slaughter-place, dressed in white linen, having cymbals and harps and lyres, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets.


And the priests were standing over their duties, and the Lĕwites with instruments of the song to יהוה, which Sovereign Dawiḏ had made to give thanks to יהוה, saying, “For His loving-commitment is everlasting,” whenever Dawiḏ praised by their hand. And the priests were blowing trumpets before them, and all Yisra’ĕl were standing.


And when the builders laid the foundation of the Hĕḵal of יהוה, they appointed the priests in their robes, with trumpets, and the Lĕwites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise יהוה, after the order of Dawiḏ sovereign of Yisra’ĕl.


Elohim shall go up with a shout, יהוה with a voice of a shophar.


Blow a shophar in the New Moon, in the covering for the day of our festival.


With trumpets and a voice of a shophar; Raise a shout before יהוה, the Sovereign.


And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own banner, according to their divisions,”


“Make two silver trumpets for yourself, make them of beaten work. And you shall use them for the gathering of the congregation and for breaking camp.


‘And in the seventh new moon, on the first day of the new moon, you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work, it is Yom Teru‛ah


And the leaders of Yisra’ĕl, heads of their fathers’ houses who were the leaders of the tribes and over the ones registered, drew near,


At the mouth of יהוה they camped, and at the mouth of יהוה they departed. They guarded the Charge of יהוה, at the mouth of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.


And He shall send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.


“And let seven priests bear seven shopharot of the yoḇelim before the ark, and on the seventh day go around the city seven times while the priests blow with the shopharot.


And I saw the seven messengers who stand before Elohim, and to them were given seven trumpets.


And the three companies blew with the shopharot and broke the jars, and held the torches in their left hands and the shopharot in their right hands for blowing. And they cried, “A sword for יהוה and for Giḏ‛on!”
