Then they spat in His face and beat Him, and others slapped Him,


and they shall mock Him, and flog Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He shall rise again.”


And some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands.


And they kept beating Him on the head with a reed and were spitting on Him. And bending the knee, they were bowing down to Him.
