65 And some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands.

And when He had said this, one of the officers who stood by slapped יהושע in the face, saying, “Do You answer the high priest this way?”


and came to Him and said, “Greetings, Sovereign of the Yehuḏim!” And they slapped Him in the face.


And the high priest Ḥananyah commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth.


looking to the Prince and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
