8 “And the master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly, because the sons of this age are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

A man is praised according to his wisdom, But the perverted of heart becomes despised.


“And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Aḏam, it shall be forgiven him, but whoever speaks against the Set-apart Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.


Kĕpha then said to Him, “From the strangers.” יהושע said to him, “Then the sons are exempt.


“He who is trustworthy in what is least, is trustworthy also in much. And he who is unrighteous in what is least is unrighteous also in much.


I know what I shall do, that, when I am removed from the managership, they might receive me into their houses.’


“Then to another he said, ‘And how much do you owe?’ And he said, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ And he said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’


And the Master said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said.


And יהושע answering, said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage,


but those who are counted worthy of attaining that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage,


While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you become sons of light. These words יהושע spoke, and went off and was hidden from them.


Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become foolish, so that he might become wise.


For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Master. Walk as children of light –


Their end is destruction, their mighty one is their stomach, and their esteem is in their shame – they mind the earthly.


For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light,


In this the children of Elohim and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone not doing righteousness is not of Elohim, neither the one not loving his brother.
