Leviticus 25:40 - The Scriptures 2009

⁴⁰ ‘But as a hired servant, as a settler he is with you, and serves you until the Year of Yoḇel.

Tan-awa ang kapitulo Kopyaha

⁴⁰ but as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:

⁴⁰ But as a hired servant and as a temporary resident he shall be with you; he shall serve you till the Year of Jubilee,

⁴⁰ As a hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee; he shall serve with thee unto the year of jubilee:

Tan-awa ang kapitulo Kopyaha

⁴⁰ Instead, they will be like a hired laborer or foreign guest to you. They will work for you until the Jubilee year,

⁴⁰ But he shall be like a hired hand or a settler; he shall work with you, until the year of the Jubilee.

⁴⁰ But he shall be as a hireling, and a sojourner: he shall work with thee until the year of the jubilee.

‘And then he shall leave you, he and his children with him, and shall return to his own clan, even return to the possession of his fathers.

‘And if he is not redeemed in these years, then he shall be released in the Year of Yoḇel, he and his children with him.

“When your brother is sold to you, a Hebrew man or a Hebrew woman, and shall serve you six years, then let him go free from you in the seventh year.
