28 יהושע therefore cried out in the Set-apart Place, teaching and saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from. And I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

“And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares יהוה. “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.”


“You live in the midst of deceit; through deceit they have refused to know Me,” declares יהוה.


Hear the word of יהוה, you children of Yisra’ĕl, for יהוה has a case against the inhabitants of the land: “For there is no truth or loving-commitment or knowledge of Elohim in the land.


“Their deeds do not allow them to turn back to their Elohim, for the spirit of whorings is among them, and they do not know יהוה.


“All have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him.


and came and dwelt in a city called Natsareth – thus to fill what was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called Natsarene.”


In that hour יהושע said to the crowds, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to arrest Me? Daily I sat with you, teaching in the Set-apart Place, and you did not seize Me.


All has been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him.”


“Because there was born to you today in the city of Dawiḏ a Saviour, who is Messiah, the Master.


And when they had accomplished all matters according to the Torah of יהוה, they returned to Galil, to their city Natsareth.


And Yosĕph also went up from Galil, out of the city of Natsareth to Yehuḏah, to the city of Dawiḏ, which is called Bĕyth Leḥem, because he was of the house and lineage of Dawiḏ,


And He went down with them and came to Natsareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all these matters in her heart.


And Nethan’ĕl said to him, “Is it possible for any good matter to come out of Natsareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”


do you say of Him whom the Father set apart and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of Elohim’?


“Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.


“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works.


but, in order for the world to know that I love the Father, and that as the Father commanded Me, so I am doing. Rise up, let us go from here.


“And this they shall do to you because they did not know the Father, nor Me.


“O righteous Father, indeed the world did not know You, but I knew You, and these knew that You sent Me.


“And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and יהושע Messiah whom You have sent.


This one came to יהושע by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.”


“He who receives His witness has set his seal that Elohim is true.


“There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.


“I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.


And they said, “Is not this יהושע, the son of Yosĕph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down out of the heaven’?”


And about the middle of the festival יהושע went up into the Set-apart Place, and He was teaching.


יהושע answered and said to them, “Even if I witness concerning Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you do not know from where I come, or where I go.


“But even if I do judge, My judgment is true, because I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me.


Therefore they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?” יהושע answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you knew Me, you would have known My Father also.”


I have much to say and to judge concerning you. But He who sent Me is true, and what I heard from Him, these Words I speak to the world.”


יהושע said to them, “If Elohim were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from Elohim, and am here. For I have not come of Myself, but He sent Me.


We know that Elohim has spoken to Mosheh, but this One, we do not know where He is from.


“For passing through and observing the objects of your worship, I even found a slaughter-place with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN MIGHTY ONE. Not knowing then whom you worship, I make Him known to you:


And even as they did not think it worthwhile to possess the knowledge of Elohim, Elohim gave them over to a worthless mind, to do what is improper,


Let it not be! But let Elohim be true, and every man a liar, as it has been written, “That You should be declared right in Your words, and prevail in Your judging.”


But Elohim is trustworthy, that our word to you was not Yes and No.


For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of יהושע Messiah.


in expectation of everlasting life which Elohim, who does not lie, promised before times of old,


so that by two unchangeable matters in which it is impossible for Elohim to lie, we might have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the expectation set before us,


The one who believes in the Son of Elohim has the witness in himself, the one who does not believe Elohim has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the witness that Elohim has given concerning His Son.


And the sons of Ěli were sons of Beliya‛al – they did not know יהוה.
