¹¹ Does the fountain send forth the sweet and the bitter from the same opening?

¹¹ Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?

¹¹ Doth the fountain send forth from the same opening sweet water and bitter?

Tan-awa ang kapitulo Kopyaha

¹¹ Both fresh water and salt water don’t come from the same spring, do they?

¹¹ Does a fountain emit, out of the same opening, both sweet and bitter water?

¹¹ Doth a fountain send forth, out of the same hole, sweet and bitter water?

Tan-awa ang kapitulo Kopyaha

“As a well flows with water, so she flows with her evil. Violence and destruction are heard in her. Before Me continually are suffering and smiting.

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be so.

My brothers, is a fig tree able to bear olives, or a grapevine figs? So neither is a fountain able to make salt and sweet water.
