14 My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.

“See, you are trusting in false words, which do not profit –


For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.


And answering He said to them, “Let him who has two undergarments share with him who has none, and let him who has food do likewise.”


But the one hearing and not doing, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream burst, and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.

If anyone does not love the Master יהושע Messiah, let him be a curse. Maranatha!


For you, brothers, have been called to freedom, only do not use freedom as an occasion for the flesh, but through love serve one another.


For in Messiah יהושע neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but belief working through love.


remembering without ceasing your work of the belief, and the labour of love, and the endurance of the expectation in our Master יהושע Messiah in the presence of our Elohim and Father,


Now the goal of this command is love from a clean heart, from a good conscience and a sincere belief,


For bodily exercise is profitable for a little, but reverence is profitable for all, having promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.


They profess to know Elohim, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unfit for any good work.


Trustworthy is the word, and in this regard I wish you to strongly affirm, that those who have believed in Elohim should keep their minds on maintaining good works. This is good and profitable to men.


By belief, Aḇraham, when he was tried, offered up Yitsḥaq, and he who had received the promises offered up his only brought-forth son,


Do not be borne about by various and strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be established by favour, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.


Do not go astray, my beloved brothers.


but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it?


But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.


For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.


And for this reason do your utmost to add to your belief uprightness, to uprightness knowledge,
