19 We have become like those over whom You never ruled – Your Name is not called on them!

For Yah has chosen Ya‛aqoḇ for Himself, Yisra’ĕl for His treasured possession.


And He rode upon a keruḇ, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.


Pour out Your wrath on the nations Who have not known You, And on reigns that have not called on Your Name.


For a little while Your set-apart people possessed it – our adversaries have trodden down Your set-apart place.


Oh, that You would tear the heavens open, come down, that mountains shall shake before You –


“I have let Myself be inquired of, not by those who asked; I was found, not by those who sought Me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ to a nation not calling on My Name.


Pour out Your wrath on the nations who do not know You, and on the tribes who do not call on Your Name. For they have eaten up Ya‛aqoḇ, devoured him and consumed him, and laid waste his home.


Why should You be as one who is stunned, as a mighty man that is unable to save? Yet You, O יהוה, are in our midst, and Your Name has been called on us. Do not leave us!


“O my Elohim, incline Your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and see our wastes, and the city which is called by Your Name. For we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great compassions.


“O יהוה, hear! O יהוה, forgive! O יהוה, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my Elohim, for Your city and Your people are called by Your Name.”


so that they possess the remnant of Eḏom, and all the nations on whom My Name is called,” declares יהוה who does this.


who in past generations allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways,


so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the nations on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this,’


who are the children of Yisra’ĕl, to whom is the adoption, and the esteem, and the covenants, and the giving of the Torah, and the worship, and the promises,


that at that time you were without Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Yisra’ĕl and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no expectation and without Elohim in the world.


“And all peoples of the earth shall see that the Name of יהוה is called upon you, and they shall be afraid of you.


“יהוה, when You went out from Sĕ‛ir, when You stepped from the field of Eḏom, the earth shook and the heavens poured, the clouds also poured water.


“The mountains flowed at the presence of יהוה, this Sinai, at the presence of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.
