6 And Ěsaw took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the beings of his household, and his herds and all his beasts, and all his possessions which he had gained in the land of Kena‛an, and went to a land away from the presence of his brother Ya‛aqoḇ.

And Aḇram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the beings whom they had acquired in Ḥaran, and they set out for the land of Kena‛an. And they came to the land of Kena‛an.


So Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Yardĕn, and Lot moved east. Thus they separated from each other,


And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were great, so that they could not dwell together.


“And I shall give to you and your seed after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Kena‛an, as an everlasting possession. And I shall be their Elohim.”

And Ya‛aqoḇ sent messengers before him to Ěsaw his brother in the land of Sĕ‛ir, the field of Eḏom


And Oholiḇamah bore Ye‛ush, and Ya‛lam, and Qoraḥ. These were the sons of Ěsaw who were born to him in the land of Kena‛an.


“Yawan, Tuḇal, and Mesheḵ were your traders. They exchanged slaves and objects of bronze for your merchandise.
