“And you shall know that I am יהוה. I have heard all your scorns which you have spoken against the mountains of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘They are laid waste, they were given to us for food.’


“And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall say, ‘O mountains of Yisra’ĕl, hear the word of יהוה!


“And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns.


“Then you shall set your face toward the siege of Yerushalayim, with your arm bared, and you shall prophesy against it.


And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,


And at that time Yehoshua came and cut off the Anaqim from the mountains, from Ḥeḇron, from Deḇir, from Anaḇ, and from all the mountains of Yehuḏah, and from all the mountains of Yisra’ĕl. Yehoshua put them with their cities under the ban.
