then hear in the heavens, and act and rightly rule Your servants, declaring the wrongdoer wrong, bringing his way on his head, and declaring the righteous right by giving him according to his righteousness.


But it was despicable in his eyes to lay hands on Mordeḵai alone, for they had informed him of the people of Mordeḵai. Therefore Haman sought to destroy all the Yehuḏim who were throughout all the reign of Aḥashwĕrosh, the people of Mordeḵai.


And they hanged Haman on the wooden structure that he had prepared for Mordeḵai, and the sovereign’s wrath abated.


“For we have been sold, my people and I, to be cut off, to be killed, and to be destroyed. And if we had been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept silent, although the adversary could not make up for the sovereign’s loss.”


Then Sovereign Aḥashwĕrosh asked Sovereigness Estĕr, “Who is he, and where is he, whose heart is set to do so?”


Do not grant the desires of the wrong, O יהוה; Do not promote his scheme. Selah.”


“Those who surround me lift up their head; The trouble of their lips covers them;


Let the wrong fall into their own nets, While I pass by.


His trouble turns back upon his own head, And his wrongdoing comes down on the top of his head.


I give thanks to יהוה according to His righteousness, And praise the Name of יהוה Most High.


And brings back on them their own wickedness, And cuts them off in their own wrongdoing; יהוה our Elohim does cut them off.


Whoever digs a pit falls into it, And whoever rolls a stone, it turns back on him.


The wrong one is entrapped In his own crookednesses, And he is caught in the cords of his sin.


In that day,’ declares יהוה of hosts, ‘the peg that is fastened in the steadfast place shall be removed and be cut down and fall, and the burden that was on it shall be cut off. For יהוה has spoken.’ ”


“For the day of יהוה is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you, your reward shall come back on your own head.


“And he who falls on this stone shall be broken, but on whomever it falls, he shall be pulverised.”


And Dawiḏ heard that Naḇal was dead, and he said, “Blessed be יהוה, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Naḇal, and has kept His servant from evil! For יהוה has returned the evil of Naḇal on his own head.” And Dawiḏ sent and spoke to Aḇiḡayil, to take her as his wife.
