He who is patient has great understanding, But he who is short of spirit exalts folly.


A man’s discretion makes him patient, And his adorning is to pass over a transgression.

Do not be hasty in your spirit to be vexed, for vexation rests in the bosom of fools.

But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of GĕHinnom.


And when יהושע saw it, He was much displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the reign of Elohim.


And having looked around on them with displeasure, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.


“Give him his wages on the same day, and do not let the sun go down on it, for he is poor and lifts up his being to it, so that he does not cry out against you to יהוה, and it shall be sin in you.


So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,


for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of Elohim.


And Yehonathan rose up from the table in the heat of displeasure, and ate no food the second day of the new moon, for he was grieved for Dawiḏ, because his father put him to shame.
