For He instructs him for right-ruling, his Elohim teaches him.


and a spirit of right-ruling to him who sits in right-ruling, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.


“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers.


Therefore this word went out among the brothers that this taught one would not die. However, יהושע did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I desire him to remain until I come, what is it to you?”


And in those days Kĕpha, standing up in the midst of the taught ones – and there was a gathering of about a hundred and twenty – said,


It is therefore necessary that of the men who have been with us all the time that the Master יהושע went in and out among us,”


And they said, “Cornelius the captain, a righteous man and one who fears Elohim and well spoken of by the entire nation of the Yehuḏim, was instructed by a set-apart messenger to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you.”

who was well spoken of by the brothers who were at Lustra and Ikonion.


And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak.


And a certain Ḥananyah, a dedicated man according to the Torah, being well spoken of by all the Yehuḏim dwelling there,


where we found brothers, and were invited to stay with them seven days. And so we went toward Rome.


So the twelve summoned the group of the taught ones and said, “It is not pleasing for us to leave the Word of Elohim and serve tables.


And the word pleased the entire group. And they chose Stephanos, a man filled with belief and the Set-apart Spirit, and Philip, and Prochoros, and Nikanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nikolaos, a convert from Antioch,


whom they set before the emissaries. And when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.


And when the brothers learned of this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsos.


for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,


And when I come, whomever you approve by your letters, I shall send to bear your gift to Yerushalayim.


And do not be drunk with wine, in which is loose behaviour, but be filled with the Spirit,


Choose men, wise and understanding, and known to your tribes, and let me appoint them as your heads.’


well reported for good works, if she has brought up children, if she has lodged strangers, if she has washed the feet of the set-apart ones, if she has assisted the afflicted, if she has closely followed every good work.


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.


Demetrios has a good witness from all, and from the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our witness is true.
