יהושע said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you shall see the esteem of Elohim?”


When יהושע saw him lying there, and knowing that he already had been a long time, He said to him, “Do you wish to become well?”


And looking intently at him, and becoming afraid, he said, “What is it, master?” And he said to him, “Your prayers and your kind deeds have come up for a remembrance before Elohim.


“Having looked into it, I perceived and I saw four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping creatures, and the birds of heaven.


And Kĕpha and Yoḥanan were going up to the Set-apart Place at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.


And as the lame man who was healed was clinging to Kĕpha and Yoḥanan, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Shelomoh’s, greatly amazed.


And seeing it, Kĕpha responded to the people, “Men of Yisra’ĕl, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or reverence we have made him walk?


who, seeing Kĕpha and Yoḥanan about to go into the Set-apart Place, asked for alms.


And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive whatever from them.
