27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Yehuḏim from Asia, seeing him in the Set-apart Place, were stirring up all the crowd, and they laid hands on him,

He who touches the dead of any human being is unclean for seven days.

And having passed through Phrygia and the Galatian country, they were forbidden by the Set-apart Spirit to speak the word in Asia.


And when the Yehuḏim from Thessalonike came to know that the word of Elohim was proclaimed by Sha’ul at Beroia, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.


And when Gallion was proconsul of Achaia, the Yehuḏim with one mind rose up against Sha’ul and brought him to the judgment seat,


Parthians and Medes and Ěylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Yehuḏah and Kappadokia, Pontos and Asia,”


serving the Master with all humility, with many tears and trials which befell me by the plotting of the Yehuḏim,


seeing you are able to know that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to Yerushalayim to worship.


at which time certain Yehuḏim from Asia found me cleansed in the Set-apart Place, neither with a crowd nor with disturbance,


“That is why the Yehuḏim seized me in the Set-apart Place and tried to kill me.


And they arrested them, and put them in jail until the next day, for it was already evening.


and seized the emissaries and put them in the public jail.


And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, so they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council.


But some of those of the so-called Congregation of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Kilikia and Asia), rose up, disputing with Stephanos,


in many travels, in dangers of waters, in dangers of robbers, in dangers from my own race, in dangers from the nations, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the desert, in dangers in the sea, in dangers among false brothers;


forbidding us to speak to the nations that they might be saved, so as to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come upon them to the utmost.
