26 “And you see and hear that not only at Ephesos, but throughout almost all Asia, this Sha’ul has persuaded and turned away a large number, saying that they are not mighty ones which are made with hands.

And this took place for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Master יהושע, both Yehuḏim and Greeks.


who, having called them together, with the workers of similar trade, said, “Men, you know that our wealth is from this business.


You know that you were nations, led away to the dumb idols, even as you might be led.


So then, concerning the eating of food offered to idols, we know that an idol is no matter at all in the world, and that there is no other Elohim but one.


But then, indeed, not knowing Elohim, you served those which by nature are not mighty ones.


“And there you shall serve mighty ones, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.


For they themselves report what kind of reception we had with you, and how you turned to Elohim from idols, to serve the living and true Elohim,


And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which are neither able to see, nor to hear, nor to walk.
