17 But they pressed upon him till he was ashamed, and he said, “Send.” So they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find him.

And he looked at him steadily until he was ashamed. Then the man of Elohim wept.


“I say to you, if he does not get up and give to him because he is his friend, he shall get up and give him as many as he needs because of his persistence.


For I bear them witness that they have an ardour for Elohim, but not according to knowledge.


By belief, Ḥanoḵ was translated so as not to see death, “and was not found because Elohim had translated him.” For before his translation he obtained witness, that he pleased Elohim.
