7 But if the administering of death in letters, engraved on stones, was esteemed, so that the children of Yisra’ĕl were unable to look steadily at the face of Mosheh because of the esteem of his face, which was passing away,

“And You came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from the heavens, and gave them straight right-rulings and Torot of truth, good laws and commands.


I have longed for Your deliverance, O יהוה, And Your Torah is my delight.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there, while I give you tablets of stone, and the Torah and the command which I have written, to teach them.”


And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.


And it came to be, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. And Mosheh’s displeasure burned, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.


And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Cut two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I shall write on these tablets the Words that were on the first tablets which you broke.


And all who sat in the council, looking steadily at him, saw his face was like the face of a heavenly messenger.


For Messiah is the goal of the ‘Torah unto righteousness’ to everyone who believes.


for the Torah works out wrath, for where there is no Torah there is no transgression.


And the Torah came in beside, so that the trespass would increase. But where sin increased, favour increased still more,


And the command which was to result in life, this I found to result in death.


For I delight in the Torah of Elohim according to the inward man,


For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, through the Torah, were working in our members to bear fruit to death.


But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be inactive.


making it obvious that you are a letter of Messiah, served by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living Elohim, not on tablets of stone but on fleshly tablets of the heart.


who also made us competent as servants of a renewed covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.


how much more esteemed shall the administering of the Spirit not be?


For as many as are of works of Torah are under the curse, for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all that has been written in the Book of the Torah, to do them.”


Is the Torah then against the promises of Elohim? Let it not be! For if a torah had been given that was able to make alive, truly righteousness would have been by Torah.


“And He made known to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, the Ten Words, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.


And what great nation is there that has such laws and righteous right-rulings like all this Torah which I set before you this day?”


These Words יהוה spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a loud voice, and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.


“So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.


For you have not drawn near to a mountain touched and scorched with fire, and to blackness, and darkness and storm,


For this One has been deemed worthy of more esteem than Mosheh, as much as He who built the house enjoys more respect than the house.


to which belonged the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that held the manna, and the rod of Aharon that budded, and the tablets of the covenant,
