8 “He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the dunghill, to sit with princes, and make them inherit a throne of esteem. For the supports of the earth belong to יהוה, and He has set the world upon them.

“Because I raised you up out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Yisra’ĕl, but you walked in the way of Yaroḇ‛am, and made My people Yisra’ĕl sin, to provoke Me with their sins,


And he rose up and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, “Thus said יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I have anointed you sovereign over the people of יהוה, over Yisra’ĕl.


And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I return there. יהוה has given, and יהוה has taken away. Blessed be the Name of יהוה.”


And he took a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes.


“You did found the earth of old, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.


He established the earth on its foundations, So that it would not totter forever,


But He raises the poor up from affliction, And makes their clans like a flock.


For He has founded it upon the seas, And upon the waters He does establish it.


The earth and all its inhabitants are melted; It is I who set its columns firm. Selah.”


“I said to the boasters, ‘Do not boast,’ And to the wrong, ‘Do not lift up the horn.


But Elohim is the Judge – He puts down one, And exalts another.


For he comes out of prison to be sovereign, although in his reign he was born poor.


And I shall fasten him like a peg in a steadfast place, and he shall become a throne of esteem to his father’s house.


Then the sovereign made Dani’ĕl great and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over all the province of Baḇel, and chief of the nobles, over all the wise ones of Baḇel.


This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the command by the word of the set-apart ones, so that the living know that the Most High is ruler in the reign of men, and gives it to whomever He wishes, and sets over it the lowest of men.’


Then this Dani’ĕl distinguished himself above the governors and viceroys, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the sovereign planned to appoint him over all the reign.


who being the brightness of the esteem and the exact representation of His substance, and sustaining all by the word of His power, having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness on high,


Listen, my beloved brothers: Has Elohim not chosen the poor of this world, rich in belief and heirs of the reign which He promised to those who love Him?


and has made us sovereigns and priests to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amĕn.


And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.


“To him who overcomes I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.


and made us sovereigns and priests to our Elohim, and we shall reign upon the earth.”


And Shemu’ĕl said, “Though you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Yisra’ĕl? And did not יהוה anoint you sovereign over Yisra’ĕl?
