1 Kings 12:18 - The Scriptures 2009

18 And when Sovereign Reḥaḇ‛am sent Aḏoram, who was over the compulsory labour, all Yisra’ĕl stoned him with stones, and he died. And Sovereign Reḥaḇ‛am hastily mounted his chariot to flee to Yerushalayim.

and the one potent of his heart among the mighty flee naked, in that day,” declares יהוה.


But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then the esteem of יהוה appeared in the Tent of Appointment before all the children of Yisra’ĕl.


Then the captain went with the officers and brought them, not with force, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.
