How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors!


You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,


when panic strikes you like a storm, and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.


In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.


but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree, and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.

And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified; for this must first take place, but the end will not be at once.”


“Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.


But even if you do suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
