Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.


The wicked is overthrown through his evil-doing, but the righteous finds refuge through his integrity.


for disaster from them will rise suddenly, and who knows the ruin that will come from them both?


therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.


Like the east wind I will scatter them before the enemy. I will show them my back, not my face, in the day of their calamity.”
