Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God and dedicate it to him for the burning of incense of sweet spices before him, and for the continual offering of the showbread, and for burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths and the new moons and the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, as ordained for ever for Israel.


The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, as it is written in the law of the Lord.


And they kept the feast of booths, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number according to the ordinance, as each day required,


I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; your burnt offerings are continually before me.


And Moses entered the cloud, and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the people of Israel on Mount Sinai.


“Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering. The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.


“Did you bring to me sacrifices and offerings the forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?


also a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a cereal offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil.


Its drink offering shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the holy place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.


Even if I am to be poured as a libation upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
