14 Cursed be the cheat who has a male in his flock, and vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished; for I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name is feared among the nations.

“And now, O priests, this command is for you.


You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me; the whole nation of you.


and will punish him, and put him with the hypocrites; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.


or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.


She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burying.


the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the unfaithful.


For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a man has, not according to what he has not.


“If you are not careful to do all the words of this law which are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awful name, the Lord your God,


and this will be made manifest at the proper time by the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,


for our God is a consuming fire.


Who shall not fear and glorify thy name, O Lord? For thou alone art holy. All nations shall come and worship thee, for thy judgments have been revealed.”


But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, as for murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”
