24 But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the man who was paralyzed—“I say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home.”

And behold, men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they sought to bring him in and lay him before Jesus;

since thou hast given him power over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.


No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man.

said in a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And he sprang up and walked.


God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

But Peter put them all outside and knelt down and prayed; then turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, rise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.
