Jude 1:9 - Revised Standard Version

9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling judgment upon him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.”

Do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may obtain a blessing.


whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a reviling judgment upon them before the Lord.
