He prayed to him, and God received his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

Then I turned my face to the Lord God, seeking him by prayer and supplications with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.


I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me.


When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten; but he trusted to him who judges justly.
