24 “And they shall go forth and look on the dead bodies of the men that have rebelled against me; for their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.


But rebels and sinners shall be destroyed together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.


And the strong shall become tow, and his work a spark, and both of them shall burn together, with none to quench them.


Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the sound of your harps; maggots are the bed beneath you, and worms are your covering.


The earth staggers like a drunken man, it sways like a hut; its transgression lies heavy upon it, and it falls, and will not rise again.

For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my deliverance will be for ever, and my salvation to all generations.”


You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse, and the Lord God will slay you; but his servants he will call by a different name.


For by fire will the Lord execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and those slain by the Lord shall be many.


And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.


And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will smite all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh shall rot while they are still on their feet, their eyes shall rot in their sockets, and their tongues shall rot in their mouths.


His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the granary, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”


But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, as for murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”
