Hebrews 9:24 - Revised Standard Version

24 For Christ has entered, not into a sanctuary made with hands, a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.

Thou didst ascend the high mount, leading captives in thy train, and receiving gifts among men, even among the rebellious, that the Lord God may dwell there.


And you shall set the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, as stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for remembrance.


So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment upon his heart, when he goes into the holy place, to bring them to continual remembrance before the Lord.


Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.


“See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.


“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.’ ”


So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.


While he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.


I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”


Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending where he was before?


whom heaven must receive until the time for establishing all that God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old.


Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies;


For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.


Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
