The son who is priest in his place shall wear them seven days, when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.


and Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting.


Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers opposite the yard are the holy chambers, where the priests who approach the Lord shall eat the most holy offerings; there they shall put the most holy offerings—the cereal offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, for the place is holy.


Then he presented the other ram, the ram of ordination; and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it’;


The custom of the priests with the people was that when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant would come, while the meat was boiling, with a three-pronged fork in his hand,


Moreover, before the fat was burned, the priest's servant would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, “Give meat for the priest to roast; for he will not accept boiled meat from you, but raw.”
