24 And the Lord said to him, “Go down, and come up bringing Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord, lest he break out against them.”

So Moses went down to the people and told them.


And he said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship afar off.

Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has said, ‘I will show myself holy among those who are near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’ ” And Aaron held his peace.


From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force.


“Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.


“The law and the prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and every one enters it violently.


For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.


For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression.


Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made; and it was ordained by angels through an intermediary.


But the scripture consigned all things to sin, that what was promised to faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.


for our God is a consuming fire.


Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
