17 You have declared this day concerning the Lord that he is your God, and that you will walk in his ways, and keep his statutes and his commandments and his ordinances, and will obey his voice;

so that I come again to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God,


And the king stood in his place and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.


that this is God, our God for ever and ever. He will be our guide for ever.


The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.


And all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.


and said to Moses, “You speak to us, and we will hear; but let not God speak to us, lest we die.”


Then he took the book of the covenant, and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”


“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”


This one will say, ‘I am the Lord's,’ another will call himself by the name of Jacob, and another will write on his hand, ‘The Lord's,’ and surname himself by the name of Israel.”


And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”


For this very night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,


Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.


and this, not as we expected, but first they gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.


if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping all his commandments which I command you this day, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.


if only you will obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all this commandment which I command you this day.


You shall therefore obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping his commandments and his statutes, which I command you this day.”


that you may enter into the sworn covenant of the Lord your God, which the Lord your God makes with you this day;


If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to take possession of it.


Take good care to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”


Then Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the Lord, to serve him.” And they said, “We are witnesses.”
