17 So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

and besought him, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and live.”


And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands upon a few sick people and healed them.


And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit


And his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,

You know the word which he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),


Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.


And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.


And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.


And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.


These they set before the apostles, and they prayed and laid their hands upon them.


Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.


And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized,


Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.


The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.


Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.


Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not you my workmanship in the Lord?


Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophetic utterance when the council of elders laid their hands upon you.


Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, nor participate in another man's sins; keep yourself pure.


Hence I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands;


no longer as a slave but more than a slave, as a beloved brother, especially to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.


with instruction about ablutions, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.


And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
