Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that thou wouldst bless me and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldst keep me from harm so that it might not hurt me!” And God granted what he asked.


The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.


For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. The righteous shall be preserved for ever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.


Thou dost guide me with thy counsel, and afterward thou wilt receive me to glory.


But thou hast exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; thou hast poured over me fresh oil.


The wicked is overthrown through his evil-doing, but the righteous finds refuge through his integrity.


Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.


Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;


And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.


and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive every one who is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation.”


“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom,


I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one.


For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for ever. Amen.


to the only wise God be glory for evermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.


For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.


No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from evil.


To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in you that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.


Listen, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?


who by God's power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.


To him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen.


so there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
