2 Kings 15:30 - Revised Standard Version

30 Then Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him down, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

Thus it shall be done to you, O house of Israel, because of your great wickedness. In the storm the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.


For now they will say: “We have no king, for we fear not the Lord, and a king, what could he do for us?”


Samaria's king shall perish, like a chip on the face of the waters.
