When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with preaching, testifying to the Jews that the Christ was Jesus.


We know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who do such things.


But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.


Do not yield your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but yield yourselves to God as men who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.


We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.

For if there was splendor in the dispensation of condemnation, the dispensation of righteousness must far exceed it in splendor.


I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.


Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love undying.


And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,


For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.


who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony to which was borne at the proper time.


whereas she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives.


For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by men and hating one another;


But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for every one.


For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.


Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy.


We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in the power of the evil one.
