1 Kings 3:26 - Revised Standard Version

26 Then the woman whose son was alive said to the king, because her heart yearned for her son, “Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and by no means slay it.” But the other said, “It shall be neither mine nor yours; divide it.”

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,


inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good,


But if any one has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
